Shaping the natural back pain relief revolution.
Many great products begin as personal solutions. When back pain resurfaced yet again for my dad, Benjamin Yudin, an engineer and avid cyclist and skier, he began a quest to find an effective treatment that would finally rid his debilitating pain. Despite visits to chiropractors and sampling a variety of medications, nothing he found suited him, so off to tinker in the garage he went. He would make something himself!

Benjamin was set on creating something natural, simple, and comfortable that could accommodate his life both at the office and outdoors. Inspired by the native peoples of the northern Taiga and their traditional use of fur to treat sore muscles, Benjamin turned to sheepskin. Eureka! He cut the first prototype out of sheepskin boots, and while mom was left short one pair, what would one day become BeltLife was “accidentally” born!

The very luxurious Merino sheepskin was settled as the ideal material for his heat wrap due to its fiber density, incredible softness, and natural medicinal qualities. Initially, Benjamin made a few samples and began distributing his unconventional heat wrap to family and friends to much satisfaction. In 2009, over a decade since his invention left him living pain free, and after seeing how much this has helped everyone who were able to get their hands on it in the early days, I was inspired to join forces, further his vision and reach out to the greater community of athletes and other back pain sufferers.
